Hanover Park Chiropractor : Dr. Steven Harris
A Doctor’s Confession . . .
Confessions are tough. Real tough. But, sometimes a confession can set the record straight, and I want to give credit where credit is due. Before I talk about my confession, though, let me say a few other things first. Years ago something happened to me that changed my life forever. Let me tell you my story.
I remember it like it was yesterday
I’m working as a computer programmer and life is good. Until, the day it starts. I start having terrible neck pain. And that’s not all . . . The pain is terrible, just awful. At first, I think I’ll feel better in time, but things only seem to be getting worse. Soon, I’m having shoulder and back pain, too. It’s getting harder to concentrate at work because I am in constant pain. I’m worried and scared. I can’t help but wonder if the rest of my life is going to be like this. I don’t know where to turn for help. But, listen to this . . . Finally, a friend of mine convinces me to give his brother, a doctor, a try. This new doctor does an exam, takes some films, and then “adjusts” my spine. The adjustment doesn’t hurt, it actually feels good. I get relief and soon, my pain is gone! Oh did I mention that this doctor is a chiropractor? It works so well for me, and I’m so impressed with the other “miracles” I see in his office, that I eventually go to chiropractic school myself. And, that’s how it happened!
Now let me tell you about Hannah and Brooke, our wonderful daughters in the photo…
They get adjusted regularly and it makes a big difference in their lives. You see, unlike many of their little friends, they rarely get the “common” childhood illnesses like colds or the flu. They are what I call typical “chiropractic kids.” This may seem like a small thing, but it makes a huge difference to them, and to our family!
It’s strange how life is…
because now people come to see me with their neck and shoulder problems. Also they come to me with their headaches, migraines, chronic pain, arm pain, whiplash from car accidents, carpal tunnel syndrome, backaches, ear infections, asthma, allergies, numbness in limbs and athletic injuries just to name a few. Several times a day patients thank me for helping them with their health problems. But I can’t really take the credit. My confession is that I’ve never healed anyone, of anything. What I do is perform a specific spinal adjustment to remove nerve pressure, and the body responds by healing itself. We get tremendous results. It’s as simple as that! The studies speak for themselves, like the Virginia study that showed that nearly 100% of patients who saw a chiropractor were satisfied with their results. That’s just incredible! And that brings me to you. What about your health? What is stopping you from living life to the fullest? Give our Hanover Park office a call today.
